Holiday Knitting

Merry Christmas- whatever holiday you choose to associate yourself with. This week i've been working on the Lake Ariel Dish Cloth pattern. This is really pretty and the picture doesnt do it justice. But pretty much it's a bunch of stockinette stich with eyelets in it and looks really nice. I think it will clean well and my mom really loves the colors. The yarn I'm currently using is Lily Twists and it is really nice to work within in a light blue and white combo. So Enjoy the holidays I'm just gonna go curl up and knig

The Scarf From Hell

Hey Everybody,

Guess what the scarf from hell is now complete! Lookie here, we've got the scarf all rolled up and pretty

Then we have the scarf all laid out. Grant really is going to like this, it matches his coat perfectly and that makes me a very happy girl.

In other news, I am now currently projectless, well aside from the dischloths that I want to make for christmas, and the scarves that my siblings want that I don't want to make.  So I got some books from the library and I am currently going through them slowly but surely.  

Sorry I can't make that rotate properly. I'm still working out some of the bugs with this system.

I'm Still Here

So as the title states, I am still here.  No I have not finished the scarf yet. This is the longest project ever, in the history of ever.  I most likely will finish it tonight or tomorrow, and give you all pictures then. The next thing I'm going to be working on is another scarf, this time for my little brother, with the pattern BARK by Lynne Ann Banks. T picked it out all by himself, so I hope it looks nice.  Mom asked for a scarf today, and I almost screamed, since I really want to work on a pretty blanket or something, maybe even a lace like shawl that's not too hard, but I haven't really figured it out as of yet. So I'm still working on things, trolling ravelry, trolling pattern sites. But if you have any suggestions on what I should make next just throw them in the comments section.

Progress?

So I've been working my tail off on Violin Boy's scarfy. It's coming along nicely, and I'm starting to actually like it which is nice. The grey is looking pretty, but I think I have to wash it before gifting to him. So here's the scarf and here's the hairbow from the other day.

So the Hairbow Yarn is Eco Ways by Red Heart, and while it may not be the highest quality it looks pretty for hairbows and I love the color!

Projects- Day One

Hey Everybody (No I know no one's here yet but I have things to document.  Okay so this week i'm working on a lot of things. The grey thing in the back is a moss stich scarf for my best friend for Christmas.  The purple square thing will be a bow later but I haven't gotten there yet. The Hairbow pattern is from here http://www.affordablewonders.com/apps/blog/show/6678891-easy-knit-hairbow and the scarf pattern is all in my head. I'll keep you posted on the scarf since I've been working on it now for almost 2 weeks, which is the longest it's taken me to do a project as of yet, but I think he will really like it.  So thoughts, comments, ideas please put them in comments!

Why Hello Ther

Hi,

I'm Jess, I'm 17 and I'm very new to this. I don't really think anyone will read this or even care but I have to try right? Anywho this blog is going to be devoted to my knitting and the journey it's going to take me on I hope.
